This file contains an ms. collection of jokes made by Institute of Dialect and Folk Life Studies (IDFLS) undergraduate student Kathryn Dearden at Christmas, 1979; and mounted newspaper cuttings from the 'Sunday Post'(Glasgow) and the 'Yorkshire Evening Post' on an amusing anecdote about a dog at Loch Lomond, and the alleged discovery of a painting worth £1,300,000 in a house in Skipton, North Yorkshire. File contents retained in original classification order, and chronologically within this.
