Folk Life Bibliographies

Description

This file includes a number of typed bibliographies, most of which relate to the teaching of Folk Life Studies at the Institute of Dialect and Folk Life Studies (IDFLS). An introductory bibliography, typed on pale blue paper and headed Folk Life Studies I - Introduction, includes a list of works considered essential reading, and a selective reading list. Bibliographies typed on yellow paper, and previously stapled together to form sets, include Folk Life Studies I - Oral Literature, Folk Life Studies II - Ballad & Folksong and Folk Life Studies II - Custom and Belief. There are multiple copies of each bibliography. There is additionally a photocopy of a typed bibliography on Published Material on Yorkshire Dialects and Cornish. File arranged as found.
