Response book recording the answers given by informants during the Survey of English Dialect. It includes 9 sections that cover a range of topics relating to work, domestic and social life. Answers are recorded in the International Phonetic Alphabet. Interviews have been carried out by fieldworker Donald Sykes. There are two informants for this response book - Tom Pugh and Ted Snead. Their responses can be found in the following books: Tom Pugh - I, II, III, IV, VI, VII, VIII, IX Ted Snead - V, VII, VIII The index for the response book can be found with book I.
