Description
Framed and glazed double portrait of Mary Sabilla Novello and Clara Anastasia Novello by Edward Petre Novello. Mary was Edward's mother and Clara his sister. Both sitters are seated against a blue wash background and the drawing is largely unfinished from the waist down. The frame is in plain wood with two bands inlaid in a darker wood on the front face.
