This file contains items relating to types of headwear and accessories, and includes a photocopy of Shelagh Weir's paper on a bridal headdress from Southern Palestine, from an unidentified issue of the 'Palestine Exploration Quarterly', pp. 101-109 and X plates; a photocopy of a sheet issued by the National Museum of History and Technology, Washington D.C., with instructions on how to make a printer's cap from newspaper; and mounted magazine cuttings from 'Country Life' on the wearing of the cockade, hair bracelets and a wig stand in Stowmarket Parish Church (Suffolk). File contents retained in original classification order, and chronologically within this.
