Dawson (Agricultural Economics Section, University of Leeds), on life on a Wolds farm, accompanied by a covering letter from Dawson to Stewart Sanderson, 1 January 1964; a copy of W. Harwood Long's paper, 'Regional Farming in Seventeenth-Century Yorkshire', offprinted from an unidentified issue of the 'Agricultural History Review', pp. 103-114; and a copy of Margaret Orbell's study and translation of two letters from Hari Heemara Wahanui to Elsdon Best, June 1917, on traditional Maori methods of agriculture, offprinted from 'Dominion Museum Records in Ethnology', volume 2, number 5 (October 1970), pp. 39-55. File contents retained in original classification order, and chronologically within this.
