Response book recording the answers given by informants during the Survey of English Dialect. It includes 9 sections that cover a range of topics relating to work, domestic and social life. Answers are recorded in the International Phonetic Alphabet. Interviews have been carried out by fieldworker John Wright. There are three informants for this response book - Ernest Watts, Albert Charles Deacon and Harry Burnett. Their responses can be found in the following books: Ernest Watts - I Albert Charles Deacon - II, III, VI, VII Harry Burnett - IV, V, VIII, IX The index for the response book can be found with book I.
