The copy was made for Michael Pickering, who used the manuscript as a basis for his Ph.D. thesis (Leeds, 1978), 'The Passing of a Community and its Songs: A Study Based on the Unpublished Manuscript Collection of Songs from Adderbury, North Oxfordshire, made by Janet Heatley Blunt'. The original manuscript is held in the Vaughan Williams Memorial Library in London. The date when University Microfilms Limited made this microfilm is unknown.
