Description
Set of three bells for the harness of a bell mare, Thornton Rust ( Wensleydale). Mounted on Photo File card. Includes ms. note on the wearing of bells by bell mares and an ms. note in the hand of Werner Kissling suggesting that the information provided should be regarded as doubtful. Originally held in Photo File: Care and Management of Livestock.
