"Gypsy Camp"
Description
Copy of a photograph taken in 1960, of a temporary Gypsy Traveller encampment on a roadside near Glastonbury (Somerset). Two bowed caravans, and two trailer carts are pulled up on the verge. A woman sits on the shaft of the nearer caravan, which is brightly painted and a woman leans out of the second caravan door. Another woman is on the roadway, where three dogs are visible. Mounted on Photo File card. With ms. note. Originally held in Photo File: Gypsies.
