Response book recording the answers given by informants during the Survey of English Dialect. It includes 9 sections that cover a range of topics relating to work, domestic and social life. Answers are recorded in the International Phonetic Alphabet. Interviews have been carried out by fieldworker Stanley Ellis. There are three informants for this response book - Tom Done, Albert Gosling and Wilf Lancaster. Their responses can be found in the following books: Tom Done - I, VII Albert Gosling - II, IV Wilf Lancaster - III, V, VI, VIII, IX The index for the response book can be found with book I.
