Pennie on baby lore and luck in love (1964), 5 leaves; a photocopy of Audrey Chamberlain's article, 'Gin and Hot Baths', on birth control and abortion, from 'New Society' (15 July 1976), pp. 112-114; a photocopy of a typed paper by Helen Taylor, 'The Teller's Thread', on folklore, customs and rhymes in Scotland, including customs relating to birth (1973), 4 leaves; and mounted magazine and newspaper cuttings from 'Country Life' and the 'Mansfield Chronicle and Advertiser', on a children's rhyme from North East England and christening bags, and the rocking baby and rocking ceremony celebrated at Blidworth (Nottinghamshire). The files are retained in original classification order, and chronologically within this.
