Response book recording the answers given by informants during the Survey of English Dialect. It includes 9 sections that cover a range of topics relating to work, domestic and social life. Answers are recorded in the International Phonetic Alphabet. [It is not clear from the index page which of the current day hamlet and villages of Yealand Redmayne, Yealand Conyers and Yealand Storrs the questionnaire was carried out in]. Interviews have been carried out by fieldworker Stanley Ellis. There are two informants for this response book - William Butler and William Jackson.
