This file contains documents relating to Martyn Wakelin's Cornish dialect recordings. Including 2 pages of Wakelin's diary from 14 - 27th July 1963; a report of Wakelin and Philip Tilling’s visit to Cornwall in July 1963; typed biographical info for informants interviewed in St Cleer (Nicholas Cox, William Lampshire, Thomas Whitford, Bessie Ann Chipman), Duloe (Arthur Welshman) and St Day (Renfred Knowles); and corresponding fieldworker response sheets. These dialect recordings follow the same locations as the Survey of English Dialects.
