10-line intial 'U', in blue decorated with white, on a gold ground, historiated with the scene of Jacobus Januensis (Jacobus de Voragine), the author of the Golden Legend, teaching a group of people. A simple 3/4 foliate border decorated with pairs of golden balls extends from the initial. Context: Preface to the Golden Legend: Universum tempus presentis
