View of Castle Bolton village ( Wensleydale) ca. 1900-1910, copied from a photographic negative in the possession of Mr. Robert S. Hunter of Castle Bolton. The image shows thatched stone cottages, a figure in a late-19th century dog cart, a drinking trough used by the castle garrison, and the ruins of Bolton Castle. Mounted on Photo File card. With ms. notes in the hand of Werner Kissling. Originally held in Photo File: Villages and Towns.
