Description
Response book recording the answers given by informants during the Survey of English Dialect. It includes 9 sections that cover a range of topics relating to work, domestic and social life. Answers are recorded in the International Phonetic Alphabet. Interviews have been carried out by fieldworker John Wright. There are three informants for this response book - Walt Fisher, Sydney Redman (Syd) and Sydney Westlake (Syd). Their responses can be found in the following books: Walt Fisher - I, II, V, VII, VIII, IX Syd Redman - VI Syd Westlake - III, IV The index for the response book can be found with book I.
