Description
This file contains a photocopy of an ms. paper by Stephen Caunce, consisting of an account of a visit to the last day of Appleby Horse Fair in June 1972 ([5] leaves). The account includes descriptions of Gypsy Traveller vans, the showing of horses, and traders and dealing. The file also contains an ms. map of the site of the Horse Fair.
