"Fairings"
Description
Bound volume of, "Fairings," - a selection of poems by Dorothy Una Ratcliffe. The original copy (No. 178 of an edition limited to 1000 copies) has been separated page by page with the original illustrations from Fred Lawson inserted alongside the published illustrations. In the front also includes a handwritten quote from DUR. Mounted on one side of the preliminary leaves is the author's autograph of the introductory poem 'Life's like a fair'. Text inlaid plates mounted the 34 drawings mounted or inlaid to size.
