Description
Response book recording the answers given by informants during the Survey of English Dialect. It includes 9 sections that cover a range of topics relating to work, domestic and social life. Answers are recorded in the International Phonetic Alphabet. Interviews have been carried out by fieldworker W. Nelson Francis. There are four informants for this response book - Mr Edward T. Browne, Mr Albert Edward Bailey, Mrs Anna Clarke and Mr Walter Clarke. Their responses can be found in the following books: Edward T. Browne - I, II, IV, VII, VIII, IX Albert E.
