Harvest Supper Setting
Description
Display showing a room decorated for a Wolds harvest supper, at an unidentified Yorkshire museum. The scene shows a long table and benches set for at least twelve people, with candles, jugs, bread, pies, fruit and other foods. A barrel of beer and a metal jug sit at one end of the room. The room is decorated with corn dollies. Also visible are horse tackle and a hay rake. Mounted on Photo File card. With ms. catalogue details partially in the hand of Werner Kissling. Originally held in Photo File: Domestic Furniture and Utensils.
