Response book recording the answers given by informants during the Survey of English Dialect. It includes 9 sections that cover a range of topics relating to work, domestic and social life. Answers are recorded in the International Phonetic Alphabet. Interviews have been carried out by fieldworker John Wright. There is one informant for this response book - James Steeds (Jim). His responses can be found in the books below. The index for the response book can be found with book I.
