Description

Homeworkers Worldwide (HWW) is a Leeds-based international trust lobbying for and supporting the poorest home-based workers, 99% of whom are women. HWW works with grassroots organisations, NGOs, unions and businesses all over the world to promote homeworkers' visibility and recognition as workers, and to improve their working and living conditions. Their collection consists of campaigning, training and lobbying materials; extensive research; surveys; reports of conferences and events; publications; photo; films and more from all over the world, with particular focus on (Eastern) Europe, South and South-East Asia, UK and South America. Exhibition display of laminated A1 panels with photographs and text depicting homeworkers at work in Australia, Canada, Inia, Indonesia, Madeira, The Netherlands, Philippines and Thailand. Also National Group on homeworking poster about homeworkers' right to the minimum wage
