Helen John Collection
Description
This extensive collection contains documents and other materials about Helen John's peace activism, including women's peace camps at Menwith Hill and Greenham Common, and the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) This collection comprises two donations. In 2009 Helen donated materials on Menwith Hill Women's Peace Camp and Greenham Common Women's Peace Camp, as well as actions and prison correspondence. After her death in 2017 her family gave a further large donation of a range of documents and other artefacts. In 2024 these two donations were merged into a single collection.
